Drive to Nainital

Hello every one..
On 4th March i drove from Bareli to Nainital, it was around 5 hours of journey. We took a breather at Haldwani   (a small town near to nainital). Till then it was all plane area with normal traffic and dust. But when the real climb started for Nainital, i couldn't keep my eyes close which i kept prior to breather. The valley was so beautiful and serine and little drizzling made it look more awesome. As the rain stooped and sun pooped out there was a beautiful rainbow. Such rainbow i have never seen my life. It was so close that i could count all the colors. I dared to come out of my car and take photos even though it was drizzling and the wind was freezing my fingers.

Enjoy the colors...

Water Drops!

One fine day i was googling some of the photographs and i saw photos of water drops. Then i read there specifications given by some of the photographers who have been doing such work since long time and they are the masters of it. But all those specifications included A studio, expensive lighting, and few more setups. My crazy mind thought of to do it at home and i started searching for possibilities of doing it. I took a TUB full of water and kept it under a shower. Started the shower at the slowest speed..like only few drops in a second. Then adjusted my camera at ISO 100, BODY FLASH ON and CONTINUES shooting mode...also switched off bathroom lights. Approx 40 shots..with few adjustments in exposure settings...and the results are below..:-)
